Every summer Tennis BC runs Urban Youth Tennis Academy Camps for inner-city children. So far, camps have been held at Strathcona Elementary School and Britannia Secondary in East Vancouver. Camps are free and are a great introduction to tennis for children who would otherwise not be able to afford to try the sport. With the help of our sponsors HEAD and Stong's Market, each participant receives a free t-shirt and a free meal during the camp. All equipment is provided.
2008 schedule:
Strathcona Elementary: March 18th and 19th
Britannia Secondary: July 11th, 18th, and 25th
