INSTRUCTOR Coaching Certification times are as follows (unless otherwise specified by Tennis BC):
Fridays 6:30pm to 10:00pm
Saturdays & Sundays 9:00am to 5:00pm with one hour lunch break
Wear your tennis gear, bring a racquet and a notebook, pens, pencils.
Participants must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
100% attendance is mandatory in all courses

WHEELCHAIR INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATE COURSE
Learn how to introduce the game of tennis to wheelchair players. It includes understanding wheelchair equipment, singles and doubles, developing movement skills and technique for wheelchair players. Only Certified Instructors get a credit for the course. However, non-certified people are welcome to participate.

TENNIS CANADA/TENNIS BC COACHING DEVELOPMENT COURSES
New "Ongoing Professional Development" policy is in effect as of January 1st, 2008. This policy increases the ongoing requirements for maintaining "active status of certification". The period of time that certification is active for has been reduced. The expiry dates for each certification level will be reduced as follows:
Instructor: 4 year expiry
Club Pro 1: 3 year expiry
Club Pro 2, Club Pro 3, Coach 2, 3, 4 and 5: 2 year expiry
Please check your current certification expiry date by logging into your TPA account and obtaining it from the "Update My Personal Information" section. For more information about the new policy please CLICK HERE.
