Mission: With our partners, we will lead the growth of tennis by enhancing the profile, participation, and experience in all regions of British Columbia

Individual

Tennis BC membership is a requirement for all tennis players in the province who wish to participate in sanctioned events throughout the year. Your fees give you full access to our events for one calendar year, plus a subscription to our magazine, MatchPoint. But it's more than just a requirement to play!

In the interest of our members and our community, we would like to officially announce two new membership policies.

1. Indivdual Memberships will be on a rolling calendar - Your membership will now be good for 12 months from your renewal date. However, this only applies to individual members. Gold Club members will be on a calendar year. This change was made to accomodate those who participate in events later on in the year, and haven't been able to get the most out of their membership.

2. As a green initiative, we will no longer be printing and mailing membership cards - Your membership card will now be emailed to you in an attachment with your membership renewal through Karelo. You can download and print your card to keep for your records, or simply save it to your desktop.

During the course of the year we are frequently asked "what does Tennis BC do and what benefit is it for me to be a member"?

Below is a complete list of Tennis BC member benefits:

  • Official Hotel - Hilton Worldwide is the "official hotel" of Tennis BC and offers its members a substantial discount. The Canadian portfolio includes many of the most highly regarded hotel brands, including Hilton®, Doubletree®, Embassy Suites ®, Hampton Inn®, Hampton Inn & Suites®, Hilton Garden Inn®, and Homewood Suites by Hilton®.
  • Inter-Club League - The Tennis BC Spring League has over 20 divisions with 184 teams of men and women and 30 clubs participating.

Tennis BC is in the community, actively promoting the sport so that the game stays healthy, so the numbers of participants grow and the clubs continue to thrive. Almost everyone who plays tennis benefits from their association with Tennis BC in some form or another. Tennis BC is a non-profit society that is funded by membership, sponsorship, government grants and programs.
