WELCOME TO 2010!
January 2010..............
British Columbia boasts a World Champion! Congratulations to Gordon Verge, of Parksville BC, who won the Men's 75 Doubles at the ITF World Senior Championships in Perth Australia in September 2009, in partnership with renownded many times World Champ Lorne Main of Ontario.
BC Players also had a very favourable showing at the 2009 Senior National Championships in Montreal, Quebec, in August 2009. Although most matches were played on Clay (with half of one day rained out and played indoors) our BC competitors proved that they too can be competitive on an unfamiliar surface.
