The KGH (Kelowna General Hospital) Foundation’s 17th Annual KGHF Classic Tennis & Bocce by the Lake event will be taking place from September 14 – 15, 2018 in Kelowna.
Don’t miss this fun-filled event bringing together local tennis celebrities, bocce players and other tennis competitors in an effort to benefit the community and raise funds for essential, life-saving cardiac equipment and cardiac rehabilitation services serving the interior of BC.
The event will kick off on Friday, September 14 at 4:00 pm with top level competition featuring ladies doubles, followed by the Opening Ceremonies including Kelowna’s Pipe Band, Jazz Vocalist Kinga Heming, and Opera Star Alexandra Babel taking place at 6:00 pm. Beer, wine and hors d’ouevres will be available to enjoy while watching the tennis exhibition matches.
Game day is Saturday, September 15, where tennis for all levels of play will take place at the Okanagan Mission Tennis Club while the Bocce Ball tournament will take place ‘on the grass by the Lake’ Saturday at noon. The evening will wrap up with celebrations including a silent auction and raffle tickets for vacation getaways taking place at the Coast Capri Hotel.
