The deadline for the 2023 Steve Stevens Senior Nationals is less than one month away.

 ENTRY DEADLINE IS MONDAY, JULY 24 

 The event takes place August 20-26, 2023, in Montreal, and the tournament committee has been working feverously to plan a fantastic event for everyone.

Please ensure that you and your friends who are planning to play this prestigious event are aware of this.  Please be aware that each player on a doubles team must submit an individual entry form by the entry deadline.

Match and Entry Information

All entrants must be members in good standing of their respective provincial association. Please ensure that you have paid any required membership or competitive fees to your provincial tennis association before the entry deadline.

The tournament will begin on Sunday, August 20 and end on Saturday, August 26. Matches will start at 8:30 a.m. Players must be prepared to play during the daytime and when scheduled. The tournament referee will not be able to alter any scheduled times. There will be absolutely no avoidances for the tournament.

Feed-in Consolation

All players who have lost a singles match in the Main Draw MUST INDICATE TO THE TOURNAMENT DESK THAT THEY WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FEED -IN CONSOLATION SINGLES DRAW for that event. If you do not communicate to the tournament desk that you want to play, you will NOT be included in the feed-in consolation draw.

         Men and Women Over 30, 35 and Women’s 40 events (Sunday, August 

         20- Thursday, August 24 moving to Mount Royal Tennis Club for the

         duration)

 

         Mount Royal Tennis Club, Monkland Tennis Club, and Hillside Tennis 

         Club Men and Women Over 45 -70 events, and Men’s Over 40 events,

         (Hillside Tennis Club Sunday, August 20-Thursday, August 24, only)

 

         Dorval Tennis Club

         Men & Women Over 75-85 events for the duration of the event.

 

Proper white tennis attire is required at MRTC and Hillside Tennis Club.

 NOTE:  Venues may change based on the number of entries received in the various age categories.

Social Event

Monday, August 21st, 6:30 p.m. Welcome Social at Mount Royal Tennis Club

Players will receive a ticket for the function when they register for their first match (singles or doubles). The dress code for the function is smart casual. No tickets for guests for this function will be available this year.

Menu: A traditional Quebec menu of Méchoui: Quebec-raised lamb, pork and beef grilled on a spit, and served with rice, pita bread and fresh salads.

Vegetarian Option: Vegetarian Lasagna– Please indicate on the entry form if you require a Vegetarian meal!
