This tournament is organized and run by Tennis Centre Langley. It is sanctioned by Tennis BC.

Location: The Tennis Centre – Langley, 20611 80th Ave, Langley BC

Tournament time and events:

5:00 – 6:30 pm – 10 & Under (Orange Ball) (12 Players)

6:30 – 8:00 pm – 12 & Under (Green Ball) (12 Players)

Entry opens: Friday, October 4th (08:00 a.m.) ** Random lottery for each event

Entry closes: Friday, October 18th (11:59 p.m.)

Acceptance list posted: Saturday, October 19th – Main draw player invite email will be sent with payment instructions

Withdrawal deadline: Monday, October 21st (11:59 p.m.) – Policy for Late Withdrawal and Failure to Complete Required Tournament Events (Reserve list players have up to Monday Midnight prior to the event to withdraw (if still on reserve after this time there is an expectancy to be available and ready to play the event)

 

Important to note:

At Tennis BC, our goal is to ensure that tennis parents and coaches are educated on how to support their child and others during tournament play. Please find some helpful pointers listed below:

• No coaching is allowed. Do not communicate, visually or verbally while your child is playing a match. Your child could receive penalties because of this.
• No outside officiating is allowed. This includes line calls and scoring. Any score disputes on court should be referred to the on-site staff
• Acceptance is prioritised for those who are entering a Rookie Tour event for the first time and those players who have only competed in Rookie Tour events prior to the event.
• Players who have participated in five or more Orange-Green Ball Rising Stars Circuit events are not eligible to play in Rookie Tour. These players will be placed on an exclude list so as to notify them that they have met the maximum number of events to be eligible for the Rookie Tour.
